This page collects portraits of Louise Brooks by Eugene Robert Richee. Richee was employed by Paramount during the 1920's and 1930's, and he is perhaps the single photographer who most often photographed Brooks. Born in Denver, Colorado in 1895, Richee worked for Paramount between 1925 and 1935. Between 1936 and 1944, he worked occassionally for Louis B. Mayer and MGM. No career information is available beyond the 1940's, and it is uncertain when he died. Additional portrait by Richee can be found in the Kimono Session and Without Bangs Galleries. All of these images on this page date from the 1920's.
