 Louise Brooks is an icon - and her image has been used on various books over the years. This page highlights those titles. Some of the books pictured here are related only casually to the actress. Some pertain to film in general, while others are related to silent movies in particular. Still others, in the case of the works of fiction shown below, employ a Brooks or Luluesque character. Pictured right is a 1920's caricature of Louise Brooks which serves as a design found on the French edition of Ado Kyrou's Amour - Erotisme et Cinema (Paris: Terrain Vague, 1966), as well as the Japanese book, Ruizu Burukkusu to "Ruru" (Toyko: Chuo Koronsha, 1984). Yet two more example of Brooks on books . . . .
